Optional audience measurement uses Google Analytics only after you accept analytics cookies. You can refuse and still use every tool. Use “Cookie choices” in the footer to change your decision. Your choice is stored on this device for six months.
What analytics measures
Page views, tool use and transitions between tools help us improve the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visits and returning browsers. We do not send calculator inputs, boat names, home ports, designs or voting choices to Google. Shared URL fragments and poll identifiers are removed from analytics page addresses. Advertising storage and advertising personalization are disabled.
Data kept on your device
Calculator drafts are saved for seven days so you can resume them. Your Studio designs and up to five finalists stay in this browser until you remove them or clear site storage. Calculation and design sharing links contain the values you choose to share.
Shared polls
Creating a poll stores your selected designs on our server for up to 90 days. Anyone with its link can see the names and designs. A necessary cookie remembers a browser’s ballot so it can change its vote; this is not a verified identity system.
Technical measurement
Our internal product counter stores tool, language, action and timestamp, without form contents or IP addresses. When analytics is accepted, a temporary session identifier connects actions during the visit. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
